About Me

I am excited to be at South another year. This begins my 19th year of teaching Language Arts and math and my 12th year at South. I was born in Lancaster and was raised here until 1998 when I left USC-­L to continue my education. I am graduate of Coastal Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts, M.ed in Secondary Ed., and a M.ed in Educational Leadership. I graduated Lancaster High School in 1996 and attended South Junior High and McDonald Green Elementary.

I am married with two children who keep me very busy and extremely proud. My daughter, Maddie, is 13 and my son, Jace, is 11.

I look forward to a fun and exciting year getting to know each of my students and watching them grow and be successful throughout the year.
