ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be on a two-hour delay on Thursday, February 20, 2025 due to the potential of hazardous conditions and possible black ice. We are continuing to monitor the weather, and we will provide updated alerts if there are any changes.

All schools and offices will be closed February 14, 2025.


LCSD Schools will be closed on February 14th for a student and staff holiday. Schools will also be closed to students on February 17th for a teacher professional development day.


The American Revolution Experience Exhibit and the Lancaster County Museum has rescheduled January 21st event. Due to travel and weather considerations, Rick Wise's discussion on the Francis Marion Papers has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 6:30 PM. The exhibit will be on display at the Lancaster County Historic Robert Mills Courthouse, located at 102 Main Street, Lancaster, SC.


Friday, January 24, 2025 will be on a regular school schedule. ALL Lancaster County schools, buildings, and facilities will be open. Please use caution.
