ILHS Yearbook distribution will take place during all three lunches tomorrow. Students can get their yearbook in the courtyard at Mrs. Carter's classroom door.
Awards Day for the Class of 2025 is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, at 9:30 a.m. in the auditorium. Seniors are required to wear their caps and gowns. Under their regalia:
For Male Students:
• Attire: Dress slacks (dark colors preferred), dress shirt (usually white), tie, and dress shoes.
• Optional: A jacket or blazer (if allowed or required by the school).
• Avoid: Jeans, sneakers, flip-flops, and casual attire.
For Female Students:
• Attire: A dress, skirt/blouse, or dress pants with a blouse, and dress shoes or sandals. Wedges, flats or low heels are often recommended for comfort and safety.
• Avoid: Casual shoes (sneakers, flip-flops), very short skirts, or overly casual clothing.
Immediately following the Awards Ceremony will be our Spring Athletic Signing Day. We have approximately a dozen student-athletes that will be sharing their commitment to compete in athletics at the next level.
For those students requesting VirtualSC courses over the summer, please remember to complete the 8 steps on the school counseling website. Please do not take math or English over the summer. Please also remember that you will receive an email towards the end of the course telling you to come to ILHS for the final exam- all VSC students must take the final exams, even seniors who are passing. The last day for seniors is Tuesday, May 20th if they are exempt from their final exam and have not missed more than six days in any class.
· If a senior is not exempt from their teacher-made final exams, their teacher-made final exams are on Wednesday, May 21th. If they have missed more than six days in a class and have not recovered the time, they must come to school to make up that seat time after May 21th. They will have until May 27th to complete any recovery needed.
For all AP Psychology Students:
All AP Psychology students received an email on Saturday, May 17 and need to complete the form in that email ASAP and no later than 10:00 AM Monday morning, May 19. Thank you!

What a phenomenal showing May 15th, by our Track and Field student athletes at Indian Land High. We had medals and ribbons won by some individuals. Our girls 4x400 just missed the podium. We have STATE RUNNER UP (Sequel Patterson) who finished 2nd in High Jump receiving a silver medal. Jaidin Robinson finishing 4th in the High Jump receiving a ribbon. Caitlin Lindo received a ribbon coming in 4th in the 100m hurdles. We finished the night off with a bronze medal won by the Boys 4x400 coming in 3rd Place.

Seniors- it is time to begin working on transferring anything you want to keep from your LCSD Google Drive.
Your LCSD Google account will be disabled and inaccessible after graduation.
If you are interested in keeping papers you wrote, tip sheets from teachers, projects, etc., transfer your materials to a personal account ASAP. Ask a librarian if you need help.
Students in HIST 112 at USCL or HIST 212 at Winthrop (assuming you took HIST 111 at USCL or HIST 211 at Winthrop as well to count for your Junior Year HISTORY graduation credit), you need to take the EOC at ILHS on May 20th. There is a Google Classroom for study guides - (see lower in the Stream here on Classroom) and there will be EOC Blitz's on the 9th, 12th, 15th, and 16th- this will be during FLEX (the bell schedule will be different that week- FLEX will be from 1:54-2:44- do not be late.
Mrs. Knight is also going to offer EOC Blitz/review sessions for any AMH 112 student who wants to attend all next week, May 12-16, during 4th Block (2:50-4:10).
